This is not true Ninjitsu nor does anyone here understand ninpo, which is the key to the real thing. Ninpo turns a hawk into an owl, a lion into a jaguar, a hippo into an crocodile. You become the air around the blade which cannot be cut. If you do not see these attributes in a calm, fearless, nearly invisible opponent, then you're not looking at a true ninja master. A good student should be able to take down or stop a threat and the opponent not understand what happened. This is the power of adding ninpo to your Ninjitsu. 99.9% dont have it... sorry to say. Why, is a whole other topic

I have a friend who studied ninjitsu, even traveled to the far east. It was what worked for him after trying other schools, because he was small and slight of build- he told me years ago that what clinched him into switching was his first lesson: if you can see someone coming to hit you, stop with that blocking nonsense, youre not in the movies- get the hell out of reach, and then lets explore your options.

This technique works fantastically….as long as you tell your attacker what to do so you can counter him lol None of this stuff works in a real fight, otherwise you’d be seeing MMA fighters pulling off all these theatrical combinations like it was a Bruce Lee movie. It’s fun though!
